As a Direct Support Professional, you’ll be more than a caregiver – you’ll be a mentor, a guide, and a champion for the individuals we serve. You will assist them in their daily lives, helping them overcome obstacles, celebrate successes, and achieve personal milestones. Every day brings new challenges, and every victory is something to be proud of.
Key Job Roles:
- Be a Champion for Independence: Provide hands-on support with daily activities like cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene, and socialization while fostering independence and dignity.
- Create Meaningful Experiences: Guide individuals in discovering their passions, whether its through arts, sports, community activites, careers, or even just spending time together enjoying their favorite hobbies.
- Unlock Potential: Support individuals in their personal and vocational goals, helping them develop new skills, build conference, and explore new opportunities for work or volunteering.
- Be a Creative Problem-Solver: Tailor your approach to meet the unique needs and preferences of each person, coming up with solutions to challenges in a creative andempowering way.
- Cultivate a Positive Environment: Build lasting relationships based on trust, respect, and empathy. Your approach will help individuals thrive ina community that values their abilities, not just their disabilities.
- Document the Journey: Record progress and milestones in a way that celebrates each individuals growth, while maintaining accurate and timely records to ensure the best care and support.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Work Hours:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM.
Additional hours may be approved with Homemaker Personal Care services, if available.
